During my time at university, the studies of spaces through photography allowed me to get a deeper sense of what defines a place. My dissertation was an evaluation of public spaces, specifically the King’s Cross redevelopment. It is an interest of mine, to capture moments of interaction between spaces and people. I find that the smallest elements influence the way people behave and how they choose to interact within a space. The photographs presented here aim to capture those moments. The photographs of Gravesend and Cliffe are studies which influenced my third-year design project. It can be found here: “Meeting Spaces”
